Missle defence??? *LOL* has nothing to do with defence..

here is why we are doing it..

(1) Bush wants to bankrupt government agencies he doesn't like so he proposes spending billions on what he wants. He does this without regard for what American wants and with great malice and hatred for other government agencies. This is about banrupting thoes agencies.

(2) his good budies and those of his cabinet are the ones building these things. This is a scam just like con artists do to the eldery. ( sorry mam you need a new roof)

Bush is doing what he wants he is in no way trying to represent America, Americans, or even the American best interests. it's 100% about making him and his buddies rich.

Just one guys opinion

A missile defense system may be worth while I agree, but, what is going to stop a nuke from being sailed into a U.S. port by an enemy that silently hyjacks one (or more) civilian yaught(s) overseas or on the high seas? It is a must to curtail nuclear proliferation amoung non-friendly societies to us in order to help prevent such seemingly unthinkable acts. The big question is, how do we do that especially when it seems already to late in some cases? If this act should happen, where could (or would)we point the finger? Pretty scary stuff! It is impossible for the military and the Coast Guard to monitor every civilian yaught that sails in and out of foreign port isn't it? Smuggling such a device aboard other vessels seems at least as probable. Maybe it is just a matter of time, but lets hope not and lets not just sit on our laurels waiting.

Ohh whatever, Old Man!! This isn't WFF where Chris insists all off topics have NFR to preface it. Someone I know just posted an NFR over there, who would that be?? :p

And YT is still heartbroken you cancelled your date with him a couple weeks ago. wink

hmm..usa technology winning the 'war' in iraq....of course 12 years of sanctions had nothing to do with it either...they were basically defenseless...with 30+ year old soviet tanks and 1/4 the army of '91...that's why iraq was picked and not n. korea or iran...iraq was an easier test case for the new 'national security strategy of the usa'..

and i bet a year or two from now we'll find out the 'new and improved' patriot's missed as much as the original ones did...remember iraq was shooting seersuckers not scuds which were 'basically impossible' to hit as i heard one official say during the 'war'....it's just like in the 80s and ronnie's star wars program....it's how the usa pumps money into the economy......a constant state of war...
