I'm leaving for a week up there next sunday and was hoping to get some type of report, although a good one would be preferred! Anyone heard anything????

I too am leavin next sunday for Port Hardy. Then from Hardy to Rivers Inlet. I have been trying to get any kind of report w/ no luck! If you here anything let me know.

I'll be towing a 20ft hewescraft searunner (green) behind a silver durango. If you see me broken down on the highway.....stop! We are staying at bear cove cottages. Never been there before, hopefully its fun.

I am headed up their in two weeks . Good luck fishing up their. Let me know how you do. You can check the duval point lodge website for a report.

Likewise! We are catching the 7:00 am ferry so Ill Probably be ahead of you.

Thanks Stormin! I forgot to look there.... The report is 10 days old, hopefully Kings have picked up a bit.

We post the reports when they send them to us... they haven't sent us a report since the 18th... if you want to know, give Tom Makinson a call at 250-949-6667.

Elkrun - We were at Quatsino Sound for the last few days...an easy run from Port Hardy. The kings are really thick out in the ocean if the wind stops long enough to get out there (we had gale warnings every day!). The kings should be in the sound in the next few weeks, but it is still easy pickins on tons on coho and pinks in the Sound now.
