Anybody have any recent reports to share. I will be going Wednesday morning, for only the second time. If I understand the bar conditions, the best time to go out tomarrow is between 7 and 9 AM and the best time to come in would be 2 and 4 PM. We will be in a 18 ft brown and white Larson with a mariner on the back, say howdy..

Thanks,
NEN cool

Unless my program is wrong, 7am tomorrow is going to put you into some nasty bar conditions! The charters going at 6am are going to get hammered. Don't cross before 8am. 9:19 am will be slack conditions at the bar. Coming back, I would want to be back before 5pm. Ideally, slack puts you going out at 9:19am and returning at 3.28pm.

A friend and I may make the trip tomorrow, but we won't be coming out until 10:30am or so.

I use "Tides & Currents for Windows" Excellent program but pricey. I also use a free tide program on my Palm Pilot that works well.

Fished Westport on a charter Saturday. Steady, but not spectacular, fishing. We went out about 15 miles, don't know the coordinates, though. Boat brought in around 22 or 23 fish for 17 people. Lots and lots of big blue shark hooked and lost.
