Hey UM,
The point was pretty slow. My Dad picked up a 10 lb nook' about an hour after the tide change at the Clay Banks. Green/glow Coyote behind a Hot Spot. Didn't see any other nets out. The fish checker said 15 fish for 55 boats. I don't know if its the extreme tides or just a lack of fish but it has not been hot by any stretch of the imagination. This week should be better, the tides calm down a bunch. It was a great evening to be out on the water and the company was awesome!!!
Good luck and tights lines, Jeff laugh laugh

The fishin' was excellent, the catchin' was a little slow. We used all the proven killers at the proven spots but no takers 'cept for the 1.

My catch for the evening included a pink lady, a nice Hot Spot flasher w/ hootchie and a dogfish at 55' on a coyote spoon. rolleyes

There were definitely some yahoos out there trolling around last night! The slag pile was almost a circus. Could have sold tickets to that show. laugh

Jeff, thanks for the invite! Had a great time and look forward to seeing you again. Don't forget to send me your manuscript.

Well, since your asking... laugh

Once again the fishing was excellent, the catching was a little slow. I had one hit and run on the white apex a little before high tide. We managed to scratch a shaker on a coyote not too long after that and then just like Tuesday night, at sunset, we hooked a decent fish that we never saw because a **** seal got a grip on it and never let it go!!! That's a first for me at Southworth. I've seen the seals but never lost a fish to one there.
Well, there you have it. Kind of slow, saw 1 fish netted in area 10... confused I think it was a blackmouth.

Thanks for the invite Chip. I enjoyed the evening and look forward to our next outing.
