I've been wondering the same thing. Maybe I'll drive down tonight to take a looksee. They've been pounding kings down around the mouth so there has to be something there to catch.

Well I didn't make it, but do to the high number of replies I don't think I will post anymore reports on this website. Apparently it is not the in thing to do so I don't want to be out of line and help someone out. From this point forward I will only email people that ask with info that I have. Unless others decide that they want to help out.
I'm also guessing that the fishing is good because nobody wants to talk.

Hey Glowball,
I was kind of wondering about the Toutle myself. I like to get down there each Fall, but it's a 2 hour drive for me, so I usually don't go til I've heard form someone who's fished it.
I haven't heard anything good yet, so I'll hold off a little while. I'll let you know if I do hear anything good.

Hey duck no need to be a smarta$$. I've given a lot of reports on here and sent people lots of info and don't think it's asking too much for a report. That is what this board is for. I do realize that 90% of the guys on this board are lurkers who contribute nadda. That is why I'm not suprised.
Also ducky I noticed you inquired for a cowlitz report back in June, because you didn't want to drive all the way from YAKIMA to here for no reason. HUMMMMM guess that's what it's all about finding out for yourself. Yeah right ya hipocrit.

Right on Glowball!!!!!! He also asked about crabbing out in westport and hood canal awhile back. He hit a nerve with me a couple of years ago when i posted about some surplus eggs i had reicieved legally and from non-tribal individuals and thought i would pass them on to some fellow fishermen (steelheaders) on the board (Who could'nt use fresh eggs in the middle of winter ) He then proceeds to reply on a topic that he ususally buys eggs from Yaks or some other tribal group on the eastside, (it was some ameran egg topic or something like that). What a Hippo-Krit!!!

Yes gentlemen, I was wrong. No excuces but I was haveing a bad day. Please if you would accept my apologies, it won't happen again. Not that it matters but 2 of my tennents moved out after I turned down 20 applicants . It'll cost me 1000.00 and it was bothering me at the time. It was still no excuse for actting the way I did. Before the puter, checking myself was the only way I could find out the truth. Always got unaccoutable info from sporting goods stores and tackle shops. Glowball and the rest of you again I apologize. The duck

i fished it from about 5pm until dark on 8/31/03, saw many rolling & thrashing about but had no bites & saw none hooked by any one, used corkies/yarn/eggs/spinners everything short of dynomite .......... reminded me of the old joke why do fish roll? because they don't have a middle finger... if some one figures out how to get them t bite i'd love to know.. the only thing i didn't try was live shrimp but did use shrimp oil & shrimp/anise oil...
