Yeah i'm a cheep *ss B*stard. And i put alot of hours recently into my 3 year old hip waders fishing the rivers. Both boots have sprung columbia river size leeks in them. Mainly around the part of the boot that folds over when you take them off. I can guess this is a very commen problem.

SO, what is the commen fix for this besides bying new ones. I was thinking of that shoe fix called goop, is there something better? Any special way to do this and make it last?

FFF,

Any repair that I know of for the situation you describe is quite temporary. Folding hip boots down like that condemns them to an early demise. Buck up and buy a new set and store them hanging straight instead of folded, then you will be able to be a cheap a$$ again.

Sincerely,

Salmo g.

It's called "Shoe Goo". I highly recommend that stuff. Just make sure that your waders are real clean and scuffed where you want it to stick. They'll be bulletproof in the repair area.

I agree with Billy Bob. If done right it will hold for quite awhile

One other tip, make sure the Shoo Goo is warm, at least room temp. Otherwise it will be very hard to work with. Good Luck...
