Wow. I would have thought that criticism (in general) as well as support of a current administration is ALWAYS relevant when we're pushing an election year. Had we not been inundated constantly with one Clinton story after another during his term of office, maybe the original post wouldn't have met with so much criticism. Frankly, I'm just sick of hearing about the b@st@rd and bringing it up now does seem kind of pointless....like talking about a bad case of the runs I had three years ago.

Which brings me to another point...it would be tough for me to call which side of this argument has displayed more hate.

I've got an All-American message to those viciously strident conservative broadcasters out there.


SEATTLE - So, it's not just me.

Read Joel Connelly's column in Friday's Seattle P-I.

Read Ellen Goodman's column in the Seattle Times Friday.

Or, just give my friend Mikey a call.

Mikey stopped me yesterday to comment on how viciously strident conservative broadcasters have become.

How Limbaugh, Hanity and O'Reilly, for example, figure that if we don't support President Bush in EVERY instance, on EVERY issue, at ALL times, then we are un-American.

That's it's not enough to merely mistrust liberals or moderates, we must disdain them, or we are un-American.

That if we don't let right-wing anally-conservative broadcasters do our thinking; if we don't strictly adhere to their every proclamation, we're un-American.

If we don't march to the beat of KVI's drum -- KVI -- owed by the same folks that own KOMO -- or in cadence with Rupert Murdoch's "Fair and Balanced" FOX band, then by gosh, by gum, by golly, we are un-American.

At one point, Goodman referred to it all as a "political food fight."

Connelly lamented the loss of civil political debate.

But while they keep themselves above the fray, I choose to immerse myself in it and come out swinging.

So, for Mikey, myself and all others who fell so labeled, I have an ALL-AMERICAN answer to the likes of Rush and Sean and Bill: Up yours!

Timbers post has nothing to do with the right handed media and everything to do with the facts.What the left does not like are these facts and more.

I have blamed Clinton for the attacks on 9/11 since the facts came out.He should of taken care of the matter along time ago.Now we hav e the same people saying we should not be in Iraq as Saddam was never a threat!It was this same mentality that brought us 9/11.Hell some of these same people are trying to blame GW for the attacks when Clinton should of and could of taken bin ladden out when he first started killing AMERICANS.That was his sworn duty as the Pres.I guess it did not fit into his agenda of slashing our military and forcing our troops to fight and sleep with perverts.

I can only cringe at the thought of the United States as it stands now under the control of Al gore.

Even with all the left handed bashing, Bush is still supported by the Americans in the polls I see.I just wish more of America would vote as I am sick of the tail wagging the dog.I am thinking that due to 9/11 more true americans are going to vote this year and our country will see a whole new perspective on what she is really about.

I like taiking smack about the Clintons because the Clinton lovers hate it.

Clinton supporters are funny they dont care a bit about all the bad things Clinton has done or been involved in, (goes back to the ethics and morrals issue). They just like him so much even the men want to have Bill Clinton's love Child, and wish it was them with the Cigar instead of Monica

Yeah, I know what you mean. I get the same reaction when I post some fact about Bush, like his DUIs and his Coke use.

I get the same folks crying and sniveling and trying to shift the blame or attention to Clinton.

But once they get back to reading Bush's Mein Kampf, I mean the Project for the New American Century, they get right back into goose step.

Oh you mean the fact that clinton didn't inhale versus GW coming out like a man and admitting it.Clinton had the choice to be honest too many times and flat out lied to himself his family and the nation he swore to protect.Hell he lied to the very people that voted for him.And do not come back and say that Bush lied about wmd because that is just something you wish and hope not fact.

Actually, when questioned about his cocaine use, Bush also stated he didn't inhale. Kinda tough to do coke without inhaling unless he's mainlining.
