Check your calendar, it's now 2003. All those points have been moot for over 3 years now.

Some of you guys are truly pathetic. He's no longer in office and cannot return to office. Get over it or seek professional help.

Let me get this right H.

Anyone who has a different point of view or interest than you is Pathetic? Or is it that if people have different beliefs than you they are pathetic?

Maybe you should just put up your own BB? That way you wont have to deal with all the pathetic people with their own thoughts and beliefs?

Just a thought. You should really check it out although I think you would be truly missed here beathead rolleyes

Timberman,

I agree that the follow-up to the USS Cole should have been handled with a much higher priority and with more military resources. Maybe that would have happened if Bill wasn't constantly getting side tracked by over zellous conservatives who evidentially don't have anything better to do with their time or the taxpayers money than investigate his personal life?

Seeing Clinton's military experience has led me to this conclusion............he and GW have something in common. They're both a disgrace to the US Armed Forces.

No, people must have a difference of opinion or it wouldn't be a debate.

My point is Clinton-bashing is simply getting old and pointless.

Kennedy had the Bay of Pigs and whored around; Johnson had Vietnam; Nixon had Watergate and abused power in office; Ford pardoned Nixon; Carter hugely inflated the size of government and had a weak liberal foriegn policy; Reagan started a recession and ran up a (then) huge deficit; Bush, Sr. left Saddam in power and didn't contain him enough to prevent the gassing of Kurds, nor did he do anything to turn around the failing economy.

It's all water under the bridge now. Lately, however, it seems that anytime the Bush administration is critiqued or questioned, the first response by a neoconservative is, "Oh yeah? Well, Clinton did....."

And that's relevant how? Quite frankly it sounds like an elementry student sniveling.

goharley - Right On!

Here is some up-to-date advice on "How To Be A Good Democrat". laugh

1. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding.

2. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.

3. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans are more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Chinese Communists.

4. You have to believe that there was no art before federal funding.

5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical, documented changes in the earth's climate, and more affected by liberal yuppies driving SUV's.

6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial, but being homosexual is natural.

7. You have to be against capital punishment, but in favor of abortion-on-demand.

8. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.

9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but loony activists who've never been outside of Seattle do.

10. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important that actually doing something to earn it.

11. You have to believe that the military, not corrupt politicians, start wars.

12. You have to believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution.

13. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.

14. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, General Robert E. Lee, or Thomas Edison.

15. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides aren't.

16. You have to believe that Hillary Clinton is really a lady.

17. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked anywhere it's been tried is because the right people haven't been in charge.

18. You have to believe conservatives telling the truth belong in jail, but a liar and sex-offender belong in the White House.

19. You have to believe that homosexual parades displaying drag, transvestites, and bestiality should be constitutionally protected and manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal.

20. You have to believe that illegal Democratic funding by the Chinese Communists is somehow in the best interest of the United States.

Kind like bashing the wmd's thing or the fact that the soldier's are already in Iraq and have been for almost a year now? Or how about the fact that the bombs have already been dropped?

Since this all is "water under the bridge" what should the US do know? Just pack up and leave? Wait, we should sit around calling the current admin liars and although around 50% +/- ?? of the country agrees with what is going on they are all neo-conservatives???... As I have pointed out before, don't you find this sort of hypocritical?

If we could just rewind back a few years, change the subects a little, it sure does seem to me that the shoe would be on the other foot but you wouldn't have your soap box to sell your snake medicine on. You'd be thumping your chest saying Clinton didn't lie, what a great man he is, even the GREATEST PRES WHO HAS EVER LIVED!!? And so on and so forth.

Kind of funny that in your rants you had to through in a little dig about Regan...Although it's "water under the bridge" doesn't sound like it is to you???

c'mom, you have to see some of the humor in that post? beer

The Iraq war is not water under the bridge yet and that is exactly why it is still being debated. Although you keep asking the same question about what the US should do (and then follow up with some mundane sophomoric sarcastic remark) I'll reiterate once again just for you.

First, Bush should grow some backbone, find some integrity, and stand before the American public and admit his administration screwed up. Then he needs to formulate an exit strategy, go to the UN, admit he screwed up and elicit some help from other world leaders. He should then demand a thorough investigation on why the intelligence he received led him to the conclusions about Iraq's threat that it did.

Yeah, and Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, etc.... What's the point?

The fact that our soldiers are already there is. And the fact that you seem to keep bringing up the point that something that was said a year or so ago to get our troops there in the first place is. But, since your head is so clouded with this neo junk you just can't seem to get it. (was that sophomoric enough for you?) Calling people pathetic surely wasn't sophomoric? Once again I will ad the hypocrite statement ...here.

According to your "answer' and how you feel about Bush is that really a plausible suggestion? Or do you just like to through in some garbage and try to sound like you gave an intelligent answer? But, you really answer exactly how I'd expect a lefty like you would. Complain and ad sarcastic digs and call it a solution...

By the way... It's called the 'War against terrorism'.

I do however agree with you on my last statement on Regan and will retract that. Yes you did point out the other's...Holy freeholy's!!! We agreed on something!!!

I don't feel it's immature to point out someone's inability to let go of a scapegoat, or their constant attempt to shift attention by tattling.

I think my suggestion of what to do in Iraq is entirely plausible, and don't really see where that is far left thinking. It simply reflects a genuine concern for the safety of our troops. If saving the lives of many American soldiers means eating a little crow, so be it. The US can overcome that, but it's pretty hard to bring back PVT Snuffy once he's laid to rest.

What would you do? Stay the course? Change nothing?

By the way, three more died today in attacks by ambush. You're still affiliated with the military; don't you feel any concern for the health and welfare of your fellow soldiers out there?

Matter of fact, aren't you in the avionics field? I can almost certainly guarantee they need contractors with your expertise over there. Good money. If you are so sure this is the right thing to do, you should by all means go and support the war effort, and perhaps draw fire away from your fellow soldier.

Timber you are right.

Clinton should also be tried for treason. He and his wife should be thrown in jail and they should throw away the key.

Clinton is a man of no morrals, Ethics or honesty. He has no use for the word Integrity.

Anyone who thinks Clinton was a good president needs to have their head examined. He did nothing but strip the ethics and morrals from our country.

"My point is Clinton-bashing is simply getting old and pointless." (quote from the famous sayings of GoHarley)

harley....So GW bashing is fresh and therefore worth listening to? Gimme a break....I think you might even buy your own garbage. Blinded by hate and so full of yourself you might expode. Your point of view is one that has lead this country to near ruin and has made us a prime target of terrorists.

With you in charge I'm afraid we would all be toast.
Check yourself into a mental institution fast before you cause any more damage! PLEASE!! You can probably get the Guardian mailed to your padded cell...maybe they'll even let you have a pet monkey and you can try out your next inane post on him to see how it plays. Be careful though the monkey might get mad and piss all over you.
