I've been fishing the Puyallup right near the Hwy 410 turnoff and doing well. Although from what I can tell, fish are spread throughout. Or, just look for cars parked along River Rd and people darting back and forth across the highway. Half of Seattle is fishing down there, but if you're willing to do some hiking, you can get away from the crowds....somewhat. 6-8 foot leaders with a corkie and yarn seems to be the standard setup.

the nisqually is the slowest i've seen in a long time this year. i think there's been less than 100 kings caught, probably because of the rain

right now it's mostly a few pinks, but nothing like it was 15 years ago. silvers should be in soon

been fishing the pu pretty hard last week and a half, was hot up until this last weds now it has slowed.maybe becase of the nets but it should come back any day.try a three and half foot leader and an orange corkie and some green or cerise colored yarn, add alittle shrimp oil and have fun.I to thought until last week that all they did in the pu was floss fish but im a firm beleiver that those fish are just aggresive.Good luck and dont be the jerk in the crowds.

I fished the Nisqually hard today and saw only a few old boots caught and of course a bunch of humpies, I have fished there several times this week and it is real slow, not like the previous years, a good rain might bring in some silvers but until then if you want boots or humpies this is the place , i going to hit the Carbon myself

the thing i've noticed about this nisqually this year is that the people fishing the sandbar below the handicap are the only ones consistently getting fish. anybody above or below is hardly hooking anything

i've seen a few pinks caught above the trestle, but no fish besides that sandbar. it's really frustrating this year mad
