I have launched their quite a few times but never hit the low tide. how is the ramp At a low tide. It is pretty well used and taken care of So imagine that you dont have to worry about dropping off the end or any other problems other than the ramp being slippery than ice/

I have used it on some pretty low tides with no problem at all.

I have been there on a minus tide was OK .Seen other people have problems though Just look befor backing.

I have fished there three times this week during a 0.0 low tide and have not had any problems. The big minus tides like 3.0 can cause trouble for some people.

thanks for the info guys I have a 22 foot boat but it sits low and doesnt require very much water to float it. I know I used launch at the 1st ave bridge and would have to drop the tire off the end of the ramp at low tide. small boat and the trailer had a lot of clearance. the big boat i wouldnt even attempt to lauch their.

Just be ready for big rollers off of ships, tugs, and ferries. Those will push you right up your trailer from the rear if you are not ready.

Do not try to trailor or launch your boat when those big rollers are crashing on the launch.

I ran into that their once but was able to get on the south side of the foot dock to use it as a breakwater. The very end one that is farthest to the south seems to be the best spot to get out of the waves and rollers.
