Everybody, evererybody, calm down. You people don't knoe nothing. The Voights Creek Hatchery which is on Voights Creek, hints the name, wich flows into the Carbon River supports around 80% of fish returns for the Carbon River. If any of you have ever gone inside the building to look at their counts, then you will notice that they will have WINTER STEELHEAD on their list. Usually they get between 20 and 100 WINTER STEELHEAD per year. Now, I'm not ruling out that this is a stray but, my gusse is that it is a CARBON RIVER HATCHER WINTER STEELHEAD. Thank you.

Nice fish it could be a early winter fish!! I have
caught alot of fish out of the Carbon and some
were early winters(clipped) and some are strays. If you have a question on a fish take
it to the hatchery if it is from there it will be coded!! P.S. The fishing should be hot soon so
I will keep you posted and we will go fill the
sled up!!
