A lot more room out on the Salt, and this is going to be one of the last warm weekends with plenty of fish!

I've not fished much in the rivers for salmon, but I prefer to eat fish straight from the salt

I vote Salt

I too have asked the same question.

I've never fished the Sno so decided to bank it this Sunday and do a little exploring at the same time. I'm looking forward to skipping the before and after ritual necessary when taking the boat in the salt.

Fishing has slowed at Pt D. but you can still pick up a silver if you work at it. Fish deep. I heard they are starting to see some chums.

I'd rather target a few bright fish out in the salt that make good table fare rather than try take my boat up the snohomish.

The river still has alot of bright silvers in it, when you can release fish to pick and choose i'd say it's pretty hot, was up in monroe behind the prison and released two and kept one bright hen of about 7 pounds in about a 3 hour period, had multipal other hook ups but couldn't get them to the bank, good luck and tight lines Doug

Tideguy,
As much as I agree with Jeff'e'd, With the fog that has been hanging arounf lately you better have GPS to venture out in the sound. I bet it has been pea soup out there in the mornng this week...ditto for this weekend.
