Anyone fish the cowlitz resently for silvers? How was it?

I haven't heard any reports, but Rick68 went down to his cabin just below Barrier Dam last night to fish it this weekend. I am sure he will post a report on Sunday night. I am kind of interested myself to see how he does. Although next weekend is our first weekend for hunting, so fishing for me might be done 'til after the middle of Nov.

Got a call from Rick about 7:45 and he had just C&R'd a nice 15lb Nook (Cchinook retention closed Oct 1). No Silvers yet but a nice start to the day.

I'm heading down for the afternoon. I'll let you know how it goes.

Lots of fish rolling tonight but the bite wasn't on. Seen very few caught and even fewer that were not colored up.
