I haven't checked the launches up that way but they should be fine. The river is running a bit low for early October but not so low as it would make it hard to boat.

The water clarity is pretty good and you will likely find lots of mature and spent humpies a few spent kings, some dollies and, if you are lucky and skillful, some nice bright silvers.

I predict that you will have a great day on the river.

Fishinnut-
Did you find a place to go and fish? My brother launched today at I believe he said South Gardner St. He caught one silver and saw a few very dark pinks in 7 hours.

Lots of Silvers below Wooley, very few above. Tons of ugly pinks upstream. Got 2 silvers today, but had to sacrifice gear to the fish gods. The Silvers are tight to the logs.

I found a few silvers above Wolley but didn't do as well as I thought. I talked to one guy at Bug Launch that got his limit but he didn't tell me where. If you find a pod you'll do fine, otherwise you'll find the odd one here and there. Vis isn't great but good enough.

We fished up in the Presintine (sp) area yesterday after fishing below the highway 9 bridge.

Only found old pinks up river.

It looks like the silvers are still in the Woolley and below area. It rained quite a bit yesterday upriver so that may change things, but I'd look around Gardiner for starters.

We had a great time on Friday. Fished Rockport and Concrete. We caught three silvers for three of us first thing in the AM. Biggest was 16 lbs. Lots of nasty humpies and one chrome one. All silvers were hooknosed and pink. Crackered off a couple more and no more silvers after that. Fished it again Saturday and went skunked on silvers. Humpies hitting all day again. From what I understand the fish went through on Wednesday-two days after the heavy rain. They think there are more coming.
