I got my name because for 4 years I used to be the president of the Friends of the Cowlitz (FOC). Everybody locally used to refer to me as "Mr. Cowlitz", so the name "Cowlitzfisherman" just seemed like the appropriate name to use here.

Side note back to "Piper':
That's OK Piper! Here's the other side of that "side note" that you had made. I guess that there are always two ways that you can look at things! You said;
In the mechanical engineering field there is an term for the volume of hot air moving thru a section of ductwork... that term is "Cubic Feet per Minute" or otherwise abreviated "CFM"
Or….
You could look at this way:
Hot air passing thru pipes is very often called "STEAM"; being an old pipe fitter as you are, you should know that when you screw around with "STEAM"; most often you will end up getting burned really bad
But thinking about board names, such as "Piper" reminded me of my school days when we went to our music classes. We used to call that wimpy looking kid that was always blowing all that "hot air" into that little hollow tube with all those holes in it a "piper" too. Are you sure we didn't go to the same school piper?
jk
And then again…the dictionary defines "piper" as; a person who plays a on a pipe; a bagpiper…(big bag of air
) to pay for one's pleasures or bear the consequences of one's actions. Are you sure you're not a bagpiper...Piper?
jk
So maybe we should start calling you BP from now on!
Sorry piper, I just couldn't resist it either
