I was going to ask the same question. We might be heading out there on Saturday. Hows the fishing been?

If the weather holds true for the "RAIN" they are saying that will be here Thursday & Friday,
you may want to stay home and tie more leaders. As those rivers will probley be toast. But let's hope it's just a little freshet.
Good luck,

Did the lower access through the Rayonier (I think) gate get opened? It was closed for fire concerns in August.
Thanks for any info.

It's going to take A LOT of rain to blow the hump. It's been soooo low for soooo long.... I drove by it last Sunday and it was still SUPER low even after the consistent rain we had last week and weekend. I think you'll be fine.

I dunno Cuttosteel, the forecast calls for A LOT of rain! I'm pretty sure it will probably be enough to blow out the Hump.

On a more positive note, I've had some of my most productive days there when it was blown!

Hint: Think "right at your feet."

By last sunday afternoon the hump was blown out. Look at the new USGS site for the humptulips, follow the link above. That should give you a good idea of the river will be fishable. There is a very high probability that the hump will look like chocolate milk by the weekend. There is a flood watch for grays harbor county according to komo news. No offense to fromcuttstosteelies but the Humptulips blows out just as easily as all of the other rivers its size on the penninsula, i.e. the wynooche and satsop. Sorry to break the bad news.

Actually, thanks for the input. However, it looked phenomenal last Sunday around 10:00 in the morning.... I had no idea that the forecast was for such a monsoon........
