Watching this made me very mad . This guy was shown on the news taking salmon off the flooded road with his hands by the Skokomish yeasterday. The worst part about it is that there are cops watching him in the background and niether they or the news crew dose anything about it!

kinda funny watching those hillbillies chase after road fish, well, as long as they don't get grouped with real fishermen

anybody else notice that the reporter kept saying "skykomish" instead of skokomish though?

Herm- The smilie " mad " is titled mad. So that guy made me mad. The part that I hated the most is the fast that he was breaking the law infront of the police and they didn't do anything about it.

I wouldn't let it bother you to much it happens just about every year.I was there one year checking it out and did see a couple tickets get issued to people that were catching them by hand and tossing them into the back of their truck wink

stlhdfishn- I'm not letting it bother me too much. I realise that he is probable a redneck that lives way out there in the boonies and dosn't know better.

This same thing happens every year on that river. We get a little rain and the Chums end up on the road. It happens so often now that most people don't pay it no mind. I just laugh it off and it seems that out police officers and doing the same. Those Chums are one hardy fish.

Looking at the fish and seeing that it is October, I think that many of thouse fish are Coho. The Chums they show crossing the road from years past where during November.

I can see it now.The wdfw is going to ask for money for the purchase of some remote controlled, robotic, spawned out silvers for the october floods and Remote controlled chums for the november floods. They can then have "road fishing stings on the skoke".Of course this will require a new chapter in the fishing regs and maybe some additions to the hunting regs. The fines will be much steeper if you run over a remote controlled spawned out silver or chum. laugh
