I just checked and saw that the Snohomish is at 26,900 CFS. The mean is 7,261. I just got a boat, so havn't fished the Snoho much. At what water level do you guys think it will fish well?

If it were me Surecatch, I think I'd be concentrating on the Sky for coho. Unless you're looking for some early chum, the bulk of the silvers will be up river after all this water we just had.

I've seen boats fishing the soft seams and back eddies in the upper Sno at around 14,000 cfs. If the vis is still bad at that level, eggs and Wiggle Warts will outfish the Dick Nites, IMO. I'll bet that the Sky is fishable by Saturday.

I'm heading north again this weekend in search of "great whites"! laugh

anyone know if Douglas Bar or the islands above Snohomish might be worth fishing Sat?

Are there any islands left?

Tide,Don't know about the prospects for that area this weekend but I was wondering if you have been fishing that area this year and what boat you were in?

When we fished Sunday the flow was 9,800 and it was great at Thomas eddy. If it's dirty water I'd explore above the confluence (ie fish the Sky). The Snoqualimie dumps more color into the snohomish than the Sky does.

I"m with 4salt. I think most of those fish have moved up, this is what I have found in past years after a big flood.

escapee - I have a key to Fred's farm and fish a late 70's aluminum driftboat - It's a luhr jensen. Been fishin there about 6-7 years now. Bought the Tiderunner this spring and only fished Doug Bar one day and got a darkie coho while all the killer silvers slapped the side of the boat all day. Couldn't believe that some folks had fish. Most that I saw that said they caught fish were usin white 6" lead darts with grapplin hooks.

I drove up to Flowing Lake (struck out, except for a 5" LMB) from my house and I crossed both the Pilchuck and the Snohomish and they were both a nice shade of chocolate milk.

I think I will be sticking to lakes until next weekend.

Ya'll go out and prove me wrong, ok? I don't want no undue pressure on the lakes, ok?
