I saw a truck and drift boat that went off the highway this morning just north of Darrington. The truck looked totalled but it appears the fishing gods (or gawdesses) spared the black Willie. I have a feeling the woman I saw talking to the police officer was the driver. She seemed ok. I hope any passengers she may have had were ok too.
Watch out for ice on the roads.

BTW, the Sauk and Skagit still look like crap.

The truck? The truck that apparently belonged to the thin woman with long dark hair looked very upside down. She was lucky to walk away. Somehow the boat was upright. She should build some type of shrine to the fishing gods (or gawdesses) after today, they saved her and her black willie. Like I said, if she had passengers, I hope they were spared too.

I heard from a local in Rockport today that it was ***** the fish******* (Seattle Area Guide) that hit the ice. From what I understand it was a newer truck. Bummer......................at least she didn't get hurt and the boat still floats!

That's weird. I put in her name on the last post and I get stars instead of the name I put in. Lets see if it work in reverse. Fish******* the *****. I know she's made a bad name for herself but I didn't know the board had a special program to remove her name to stars.

Ok, I give up. The board's software is so good I can't post anything that even comes close to her name. I guess you'll just have to guess it.

Nailknot, nope. We were grouse hunting around Rockport and Concrete. Saw three and never got a shot off. Last sunday we saw four and got two of 'em. The Sauk's a tad dirty for my taste now anyway.
The section of road where she lost it is usually the last spot to thaw.

Still havent talked to my friend but his wife told me that the guy that got hurt was so worried about his fishing rods that the ambalance driver had to stop and go back and get them. I guess they were some High $ rods to be worried that much, friends wife said the guys name is on the rod,,,,,Im not sure if they are custom made rods, or signature rods

I heard the airlifted the rods by LifeFlight medivac straight to the GLoomis factory. Seriously, I hope everyone was ok, hate to see anyone get hurt on the roads.

Just got an email from her, yes it was her. She was not hurt but one of her little girls was hurt pretty bad, not wearing a setbelt sleeping laying down on the seat. She did make sure they took care of the boat and gear first! Some people and their priorities.........

So, there you have it confirmation from the horses mouth herself!!

Although Angelena Fisgodesa was unhurt Roderick Haig Brown and Zane Grey are not expected to survive.
Oh, that's right, they were already dead. She killed them again.
Several Tonkin cane spey rods damaged in the mishap were expected to return to service thanks to several popsicle sticks and a roll of duct tape.
