It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

If anyone was hurt, especially kids, it's bad mojo to make light of it. Auto accidents just aren't very humorous, no matter who's in them.

Keep the rubber side down.........those morning drives can be hazardous this time of year.

She musta caused a real stink on this board...I know that the boat is okay - I am going fishing with her in a week! Didn't hear about the children - but to make light of that is pretty sorry.

I doubt anyone would make lite of it, even with some of the hard feelings some guys have for her.

As for all of us, you can pretty much bet that getting up and driving on the roads at o'dark:30 pulling boats around it is just a matter of time. It still amazes me that at 4:00am on Saturday morning the roads are still packed with traffic. It takes just one idiot is some little bumble bee sounding car to cut you off, and you are done. Happened to me a couple of weeks ago, lucky we didn't crash. About 10 minutes later we passed this little jerk getting a nice speeding ticket from Mr. Smokey D. Bear.

I never met her. I wouldn't wish any ill will on her or anyone else. Sure would have hated to hear a Willie boat was smashed, that guy builds one fine boat!

The drive from Derrington to Rockport can be a slick one even if there is no ice any where else. SO be carefull hope the kids are O.k..

So, there you have it confirmation from the horses mouth herself!!
Any parent caught with a kid in the car not wearing a seatbelt should go to jail!!! One of my biggest pet peeves!! How hard is it to buckle the kid up?? And this from the woman that goes on and on about how much she loves her kids. She pulls this bright move and the last one was sinking her driftboat while she was pregnant!!!
Some people should be sterilized!!!

Thanks for the tip on the jacket....

with the rain I am expecting the trip to get cancelled - I was out flyfishing the catch/release part of the northfork of the stilly on Saturday and it was coming down over there pretty good most of the day - I am pretty new to the salmon/steely game, but I am going to guess that most of the rivers up north (maybe everywhere) are going to get blown out....

Maybe it will make the fish run too??

I wear my raingear or waders when it's raining - wool pants are great for elk hunting in the snow - but fishing in the rain? Seems they would get pretty heavy by day's end.

I will say that a fifteen mile hike in waders or rain gear gets very hot.

I have worn woolies in the rain for years. Works real well and they don't get heavy unless it super dumps like Tue/Wed- I like the German ones.
