"A lot of these people are moving in from other places, and they don't understand," Blake said. "They haven't been brought up with" spawning salmon.

Education and less immigration are warranted I think. Not to mention huge fines and jail time.

eek

Two sentences, and 4 distinct points that I agree wholeheartedly with grandpa2 on. I gotta go lay down....

I'd like to add that while an eye for an eye here is a little extreme, it does have me thinking about where my pitchfork is right now.

Maybe a pitchfork up the A$$ will solve thier ignorance. That " they dont know " factor is Bullcrap. Unless they are a complete retard common sense says leave the salmon alone. Last nights news had a report of someone killing about a hundred geese with a rifle down in Oregon and they dumped them in the woods. We cant keep abusing our natural resources.

Its nice to know that so many retards are moving into Washington. The old adage stupid people shouldn't breed comes to mind. I believe ignorance is no excuse, who out there can say as a teenager they wouldn't have felt morally wrong beating to death 80 adult salmon. I guess the things that inspire awe in most people, really piss off these people who would like to see a world devoid of all living things. All that I can say is it is probably a good thing that these " A " holes didn't have anyone on this website witness their actions because instead of spawning salmon getting beat, a couple of genetic miscreints would have been removed from the human gene pool forever. In Montana we have the saying shoot shovel and shut up, this would probably be a fair solution to this problem.

These retards are not necessarily from some where else! I stopped three guys on the Satsop about three or four years ago, they were throwing rocks at the spawning salmon and i got pissed.Told them that i paid alot of money to fish and that others did too. These fish were there to propagate the species and that if they had a problem with me b2ching they could well step up to the plate. Well after i said something they stopped and felt pretty bad, worst thing about it, they were all local boys that were born and raised right there near Satsop. So don't go blaming immigrants, thats just a simplistic excuse for people acting incredibly stupid. Fishy..........

Grandpa, lots of people moving in from other places, REALLY. Was fishing the nooksack, started talking with this old guy. Said there were no fish cause there were so many new people in the are, well long story short, asked him how many kids he had, 11, yes 11 kids, and i told him that maybe instead of him blaming other people he should have kept his d2ck in his pants, Moron, *****in about others and he is a big part of the problem. In case you have not noticed the population has increased Everywhere, jeez the stupidy of some people drives me insane, Fishy.......

I would imagine the number of salmon that were killed was stretched a bit- counting every dead salmon they could find in the area, especially if cops/fines were involved, or just to maximize the storie's impact by the news reporter.

Not to condone at all what was done...

And I'm sure nobody on this board ever harrased any spawning salmon in their reckless youth, especially if they are not 'new' and grew up here.

Kids need to be shown the proper respect for spawning fish.

Somethingsmellsfishy, that's an excellent point about people having so many kids. It's one of the many things I see as socially irresponsible.

I was lucky enough to see a resident of the Cascade River shooting at humpies with a revolver this fall. And right in my direction too.

P.S regarding the geese, they probably work in the parks department and got to clean up that mess every morning.

P.S.S regarding the geese, there just adding nutrients to the forest! That excuse seems to work for the indians with waste of salmon they toss back in the water after they take the eggs!

Say, weren't some of you just ragging on the Indians on another post? Guess there are plenty of problems in plenty of our neighborhoods, eh? Indian and Non-Indian alike.
