i'm looking into jig molds and was wondering if there is a big difference in the regular wire mold and the heavy wire molds. can you fit heavy wire in the regular size? thanks

Can you give more specfics in what type of jig mold you want?

If you are talking about hook types. as some jig hooks are made from sturdier wire, you may need to etch out a slightly larger cavity where the eye and shank below the casting are.

Your best bet is to take a sample of the hook you plan to use and go to a good sports shop that carries molds and see if the hook fits.

You do not want any lead to be able to fill in around the eye as it requies extra trimming.

I've been doing a lot of research on Jigs recently. Here's some of the best places I've found so far.
