...anybody like to tell us how windy it was today in spots like Reiter etc.? I know how bad it can be in average wind conditions there, but today it must have been extreme! Any trees down near the fishin' holes?

Funny how I've heard about this all day ... and it's been dead calm until about twenty minutes ago ... now it's blowin' pretty good.

One of those rare occasions we don't get the nasty before everyone else

The weather was backwards today.... wind howling from the east.

We fished the Sky today and above Sultan it was sometimes downright spooky how hard the wind was blowing, tough work just trying to keep the boat straight.

Below Lewis St it was dead calm. Go figure.

This is what happens in East king and Snoho counties when the pressure is stabilizing between the east and west side of the Cascades through the passes. On clear days you can seea could formation on Rainer that signals the event. It looks like the mountian is wearing a hat.

Not bad at all down here on the South Sound

It was kinda odd. Yesterday there was not even a slight breeze in Puyallup (Shouth Hill) while Buckly and Bonnie Lake just a few miles away was hit with hurricane force winds. Something smells fishy....

I left Graham at 7:30 to do some business up along I-5 at the Kent-Des Moines exit. Dead calm here, dead calm in Tacoma. Go around the curve in Fife and HOLY HELL!! it got nasty.

Was driving a little Nissan Maxima and wasn't getting blown around to hard. Then we hit a little tiny break in the trees along I-5 and I was instantly in the next lane. Luckily the truck that had been there got blown over as well.
