Is anyone familiar with places to launch/take-out on the Puyallup? Last time I checked, the gravel bar by Anton's was closed. Thanks for any info, it is appreciated.

I would have to say get in good with some land owners if you are looking for launches on the PU.

I believe there is a crude launch on the puyallup a 1/2 mile or so above the forks at the white river. You'll may have to do a little exporing to find it. It's been a few years since I've been back there and I'm not sure if it is still there.

BMX is open for a launch and there is also a few spots downs on the tide flats in t-town.The launch above the split is a rough one but its possible..

At 115th st on the highway going to Orting has a nice gravel bar that I have seen some catarafts launch from. Once when I was there a drift boat came down river, but I don't know were it launched from. If you have two people and/or a light boat you could launch here as there is a small side channel right next to the road here.

You use to be able to float it but any more the launches are slowly going away. You use to be able to launch at the orting bridge too but the blocked that one off too.

Launch at BMX (Riverside Park) and take out at the big blue office building. Gate is closed at the sewer plant due to (what else) illegal dumping. Enjoy
