hey there guys. i just rejoined the board after a long abscence(3 years), i just didnt have access to a computer for awhile now. now that i have access again i thought i would say hi and see if anybody has been fishing the nf lewis lately and how its been doin. i just moved back down to the clark county area recently and i am having to learn all the holes over again. i was born and raised in the vancouver area and was in pugetropilis for 10 years. man has this area changed a lot . anyway i will quitrambling now. steve

Still a few late salmon around and a few winter steelhead. The steelheading should be better though and it expected to pick up anytime now. The river has been running around 11,000 cfs which makes for a little more challenging fishing. Sort of like diverting the entire Cowlitz thru the narrower river bed of the NF Lewis. More steelies and less heavy water flow and the fishing should come on nicely.

GET MY DRIFT. thanks for the info. i was out there yesterday and it is pretty high. no takers so i went to the east fork and same thing except nicer flows. didnt see anything and talked to a couple other guys and they hadnt done anything either. oh well, just nice to be on the river for a while if nothing else. thanks for the welcome guys. steve
