Santa is sending the misses and I to Kalaloch Lodge for a couple days of R & R (leaving 12/28). I thought I would bring my pole and gear for some fishin. Will be driving from Seattle and have some concerns with road conditions. Any suggestions for what is fishin and what is not would be greatly appreciated. Never fished the Penninsula, so will be shootin from the hip.

We just got back from Forks.

I can't say anything about the rivers, I don't fish rivers just lakes and salt water. I can say that fishing Lk Sutherland on Christmas Day was not any good, we were out for about 4 hours and only had 1 bite.

The road conditions were not too bad. Between Beaver and Fairholm there is a lot of snow and ice on the road. I was towing my boat, a 16' Smokercraft Osprey so the snow and ice made the trip interesting. The rest of the way it was just raining.
