Got a call from a fishing partner who found two rods & reels on the Snoqualmie today and asked me to post a message to the fisherman who lost them, identify them and he will return them to the owners.

I had a car stolen with fishing gear in it. It's a long shot but are any of the reels either a calcutta, stradic, and/or a sedona? (Shimanos)
I wasn't fishing that day ofcorse but the police have been unsuccessful in locating my car or the contents in it. And it was stolen in that vicinity. Just a yes or no will do. Thank you for trying to return someones lost stuff. We need more people like you and way less theives. I had gifts from deceased relatives in that car including some of that gear. I'd trade the car for the contents in it in a heart beat. I'd also trade the rods/reels that I had for the tackle that was lost

talked to my friend this evening and he found out that they belonged to a old timer, one was a old bantam and the other was a spinning rod & reel , neither were the equptment you described, I guess the guy just drove off and left them . hope you get your stuff back. the fella put some flyers up in the area where he lost them , it might do you some good to put some up. good luck

Like I said it was a long shot. Who ever stole my car hit a gold mine in fish gear. No need to say exactly what on a flyer 'cause I'd need a poster what with all the stuff inside.

12/29. Just continuing with that long shot in the dark. If any body might happen to know of someone who recently aquired a black nissan 240sx, and, or, loomis rods and shimano reels, a pair of nikon binoculars, and or a whole bunch of tackle and more, do the right thing.
I just want the stuff that's irreplacable. If the thief(thieves) are caught, great. I wouldn't press charges if I got atleast the some of it back.
But it's wishful thinking.
