Sitting here in front of the computer for a bit to go re-meet today's guests in a couple of hours to see where the steep rise we have this morning ends.

The normal text link is unoperational right now, but if you pull this page:

http://www.nwrfc.noaa.gov/weather/3_day.cgi

Look at the rainfall forecasts for the Olympic south slopes (ABEW1 & FRAW1) and even Quillayute for Thursday and Friday.

That is 8.94 inches they are forecasting for the two days!!

Glad we're going to be in Seattle doing the Christmas Boat Parade this weekend! Claimjumper too to bust up that diet wink

No doubt, glad that I cant fish this weekend either. Or better to say glad that I will not be missing anything or have to hear of any spectacular reports on a weekend that I cant fish. But for all that only have this weekend, better luck next time.

So does that mean a trip to the Bogey from Graham this Thursday thru Saturday would be a waste of time?

Don't know about the OP, but over here in Concrete it's been looking like "dusk" since dawn!

HEAVY rain at times...but the river isn't showing it...yet. Hope most of it will fall as snow in the mtns.

dunno, i wind up being more concerned about beaver creek...when it comes up fast it turns the backyard into a lake.

had a silver carcass out in the middle of the field after the last rain.

good thing i found it before the dogs.

Looking at the West coast satellite weathermap it's looking like showers to me at most. Barometric pressure is rising. I'm going fishing.

The weather forecasters were wrong about the snow last weekend and wrong about the wind storm Tuesday night - let's hope they're wrong about the pineapple express that's supposed to arrive on Friday.

If so, *some* of the rivers may be fishable this weekend. I'll be digging clams at Ocean Shores but I'm bringing my gear just in case, in the hope that it won't dump like they are predicting.

Actually CN ... we got to do our turnaround in the snow last Sunday. Not much, but enough to get you to slow down some smile

Rain is just starting up out this way ... no biggie yet, but rain calls for them are usually a little easier than wind or snow, so I'm happily packing my bag to head off to the big city for some golf, shopping, partying & food smile

YIKES!

OK, I think I'll just leave the fishing gear at home and focus on the razors.

We are still doing "OK" up here. Let's hope it lasts! (I've got Sunday free to fish).

Below the Sauk is showing a rise, but upriver is still doing well. Rain has slowed (was heavy last night...all night).
