Other than being colder than a well diggers watusi it is just a bit cloudy up here in Concrete. The bulk of this storm is supposed to hit you guys down south a lot harder than us. We are expecting just 6-8" by morning. Hard to accept that the weathermen says it should be in the 40's to as much as 50 by Thursday.

Worse than the snow is the rain to follow. The upper Skagit just can't get a break this year.

1/2" on the ground as I drove to work from Everett to Arlington. If it piles up 2" I'm out of here and going fishing. With the warmer air and rain coming in today may be the last fishable day for a week.

Its snowin here in totem lake, but just a little tho. It is starting to come down pretty good so hopefully in a while we will have a nice blanket of snow. Looked like bellevue already had some decent snow at 7:00 this morning. Best of luck to those of you who have to drive in it.

Just started here in Concrete......snow coming from the NE direction, and most of it coming in sideways with the wind.

Catcher: It is supposed to warm up for the areas down south...but I think those of us in the north will be getting snow all day and into the late hours of the evening. Maybe (maybe) it will be warmer tomorrow and some will begin to melt off.

A sllooowwww melt off is much preferable to a big, all at once kind of thing. Keep the flooding to a minimum and improve the fishing at the same time.
