Something tells me the river isnt quite this high right now in Gold Bar!!! I bet the gauge is frozen solid.

Ironically, I bet some of our local rivers will looks similar to that graph after this all thaws out. Hopefully it all doesnt thaw too quickly.

Same thing happened to the guage on the Skagit at the Dalles bridge...froze up, and when it did take a measurement....it showed the river at 100'!

Seems they got it fixed this morning...now showing 17.5' again...meaning they are generating power on the Baker. River looks like ice tea. Once they shut down the Baker it only takes about 2 hrs. for the river to clean up. Hoping that Sat. (supposed to be sunny) will be a good day. I'm getting withdrawls!

22 degrees, snowing and blowing here right now.

Not that high this morning when I left laugh

However I think I did see a glacier break off and start floating down the Sky.... wink

If we do get 5 days of rain the rivers will be very high and cold, if not at near flood stage. Between the rain and the melting snow it'll get in the rivers in a hurry as the ground is frozen and the runoff won't sink in.
