I recently have switched to vision hooks, (preveiouly used Gami's) and have noticed that they seem to bend out quite easy, also in a recent pack of 1000 I have noticed that there has been a weak point in the hook. My question is this; is it just a bad batch of hooks or has anyone else expierenced the same thing?

All I can say is it is not a bad batch of hooks!

vision is the best! i have bent gama****su hooks also. any of them will bend if they meet their match. i will stick with vision. yea, i have seen some messed up hooks, but you are paying half the price and getting a sharper hook. you buy a thousand pack of any brand, i guarantee you will find some defects. cs

Junk, about the 5th or 6th best hook out there.

My experience, first and only box I bought 8 bad hooks in a box of 100 , I buy gami's buy the 1000 and am suprised if I find 2 or 3 bad 1's in the batch.

I'd go with Gammi or Owner.Good luck,

Thanks guys! The hooks I have bent have been while free drifting and if I can bend a hook with the Power of the 1141 then I think something is wrong.

This comes up at least 2 or 3 times a year, if you do a seach on vision hooks you should find plenty of reading. Kind of reminds me of Ford vs. Chevy

Bennet, I used to get them by the 1000 in the same warehouse complex that Sportco is in, I was on their guide program but they ended that a few years ago after a certain sw Wa./Ak guide took advantage of the program and they ended it.

I just call'em like I see them, just like the guides in Craig this past summer who all thought they were great in May, then they saw what small feeder kings did to your hooks and they [Bleeeeep!] canned them in a hurry, got rid of them quick before the big boys showed up.

I would have to second that, AKKING, As someone who go's through about two thousand hook a year, it's GAMI's all the way for me.
