Sorry to say this but I have to shine some light on most of you guys.
Don't you know that you sound like a bunch of prejudice racist already?
Meaning that you are prejudging the situation without any type of knowledge or experience so you choose a race of people to blame.

I am not going to get deep into this but all I can tell you is that 99% of the management are not tribal members.
Ever heard of the saying, "It's not what you know or who you know, it's who you blow."
This layoff is an excuse of poor management and being an Indian Casino, the people out of work are non-tribal members.
I feel bad for these people, but you have to understand that the casino is a large family business. Would you fire your own family member? Or would you let your hired manager fire your son if you were the owner of a company?

No disrespect, but you guys are acting like fools.

This is no different than the neoptism that runs rampant in most of white owned businesses.
Nepotism goes on daily but you never hear anything about it.

The last company I worked at had a strict policy against nepotism... I met my wife there. We lived together for a couple of years before we got married no problem... As soon as we hitched it was made pretty clear that one of us had to quit.

believe it or not this was an engineering firm... ???

(LOL, neither of us work there now)
