I need to get some soon. And not going to do the Red Eye this year, Man, that can screw ya up a bit...

She usually has some pretty good rates on the daytime flights ... not as cheap as the red-eyes, but not bad either.

Frontier had a sale so Alaska might follow?

Alaska is a great airline. Most of the airlines are still in trouble. They will probably drop the tickets later in the year. Their website is
www.alaskair.com They also have webspecials that can be really cheap if you check every week or so. Hope this helps and enjoy your flight and fishing.

I flew Continental to Anchorage last year. Round trip $239 from Sea-Tac. It wasn't a redeye either. Left Seattle at 8pm on a Wed. Returned 5:30 pm the following Thursday.

Better flight times and cheaper fares than Alaska, last year at least. I'd keep an eye out on their site, as well as some of the other carriers. United and Delta both serve Anchorage now too.

I booked around the beginning of April for the second week of June.

Sure wish Continental serviced southeast Ak., Its going to cost me $422/round trip to Ketchikan, half the distance as Anchorage.

Well, I got ahold of Bob TRBO booking agent for tickets to Kenai today and booked my flight.

Here's what I got and probably paid more than the tickets will be next week. Usually works that way everytime I fly somewhere.

Seattle to Anchorage RT:
Anch to Kenai RT:

Continential Airlines. Not the Red Eye flight..Alaska Air wanted over 500.00 for the same trip....

Total $461.90 including tax.

I think this about what they cost me last year and I am about a week late ordering them as they went up since I checked a week or so ago. Figures!!!!

That Anchorage to Kenai flight is the killer ... adds quite a bit, thus why we suggest most of our guests make the drive down since rentals are needed anyhow.

Ya that Anch/Kenai RT was $140.00 this year.

I think it was $19.95 back when I started the Kenai 1981ish.

Back when Wein Air was around I flew 198.00 RT to Kenai. Wonder why they went banko..

I just checked a one way ticket for you on Alaskaair.com and they have a flight from Bellingham to Seattle to Anchorige for $324.10. For that flight that is a good deal from bellingham. There are many differnet flights leaving durring that day. The one way out of Seatac to Anchorige is $206. Letme know if I can be any more help.
