Can you tow the wild after Apr? I assume not even if you keep them in water! Anyone knows what is going to happen to that program?

From my understanding it will be over. What a shame.

The program IS NOT in jeopardy. There are provisions in state law to allow for broodstocking under permit.

The contract for the program is good for another five years and we have no plans at this time to end it.

Just some propaganda that the naysayers of the moritorium are spreading around.

Thanks Bob. I didn't know it. I was fishing there and it reminded me of that prog.
I made one guy mad eek over there. We were talking you know Hi, any luck, etc. and he said something about getting one for dinner and I said well after April you don't have to worry about dinner. I was just talking and assumed that he knew and wasn't trying to inform him or anything. He didn't know and got kind of mad at me and started f this f that I will do whatever I want .... rolleyes
I realized once again that the best thing is not to talk to anyone when I am fishing laugh I am sure WDFW will be busy in April.
