i was wondering if anyone has a rod built with the rainshadow 11'6" 4-10lb rod blanks. if so what kinda of backbone does it have? im looking to have it built into a baitcast rod for float fishing and some drift fishing. what kinda of sensitivity does it have also?

thanks alot.

I actually have one of these..Great Rod..I have used it for float, drift, saltwater plugs, and surf fishing..I have caught 25lb stripers, atlantic croakers, blufish, coho and steelies on that thing..I would use it more often but the thing is so damn long!! My biggest gripe is that it is tough to make a delicate cast but you can damn near cas tthe thing to El Segundo..Great rod with a lot of uses..Just long!! Don't expect to fish the Wallace with it thats for sure..

so how sensitive is it? and how much backbone does it have? is there any rod that you could compare the action too?

thanks
