Anyone else having a problem with Hotmail today...or is it just me?

Users on the hotmail service are distributed across 1000's of servers, and while the service seems to work for one user, another may not have access. I'd be willing to bet that at any given point in time, there ae 1000's of users who are not able to access the servies for various reasons.

As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for".

There is a new virus out today, the beagle or bloodhound virus. When I was out on the Symantec site this morning getting an update, they seemed to think it was a significant threat. That may be part of the issue.

Yeah, I heard that virus was targeted at people who receive an inordinate amount of porn.

I dunno.... just what I heard.

MS kept de-activating my hotmail account, so I switched to excite - much better.

Mine went south too

Mine is woking and I used to to e-mail members of the Forks Chamber of Commerce letting them know I'd no longer do business with them.

It started working again around 11 am...whatever the problem was, it seems to be worked out.
