Do any of you folks have any experience with, or opinions of this pontoon boat?

I have a Fishcat 9 lite. Great fun to fish in. The clip system to hold the deck plate strikes me as a weak point in the overall design.

My family has three of these. the deck plate clips are a little funky but no big deal. outdoor emporium has the cheapest price by far. Last summer I think we paid 299.00 each. GI joes wanted 479.00! We have used them on the upper skagit and the sky. Handles rough water pretty good.

I've had my Fish Cat 9 for 4 years. I've floated the Cow, Nooch, Satsop, Chehalis, Puyallup, Nisqually, Clearwater. I also have a 14' driftboat. For solo work, I'm much more confident with the Fish Cat 9 then the driftboat. Great pontoon boat.

Upgrade the rowing system- longer oars, brass oarlocks and strap a spare oar along side the pontoon frame.
