Any one have a report for the Kalama. I'm thinkin that with this rain the fishin should be pretty good on Friday.

I hit the Kalama on Monday morning for a couple hours. It was miserable. No fish, no hits. There were plenty of bank anglers and DB's but I didn't see anyone with any fish. I started at the Weir Hole and then hit Fallert Bridge, Red Barn, and Hatchery Creek. Nothing. I didn't even see any fish roll/jump. I used eggs and shrimp mostly.

The water levels were low but they had come up a bit from the weekend rain. It's very fishable, although you might be pulling your DB over a few spots. Good luck.

I'm planning on hitting it on Wednesday with the DB next week. Hopefully we'll get more rain to get it going. Know I'll hit in some places but when you gotta go, you gotta go.
