Anyone else going geo ducking this weekend? I'll be up in Brinnon on Fri and Sat for some clamming and crabbing action. Should be interesting with these super low tides. Supposed to be the lowest in like 20 years. Might be seeing some of the big ducks coming out. I'll try and remember to snap some pics if we get some biggens.

I will be on Harstine Island this weekend. Can't wait to see the -4 tide. There is going to be 18 feet of total movement. It should look like a river out there.

Here ducky ducky. YUM!!!!!

Low Tide Buffet!

Here is my favorite recipe for clams, oysters etc ...

In a big pot -
2 large cans V-8
1 32oz can whole cooked tomatoes
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1 Bunch Celery
1 Bag of Baby Carrots
a couple or 3 jalepenos
1 pound little baby potatoes (yukon gold)
A bit of salt
Pepper
Bring this to a simmer on the fire. When the taters are done, throw in a limit of clams. When them little buggers start to fall out of the shell, throw in a limit of oysters (a jarful). If it ain't spicy enough, use tabasco to taste. Sometimes we throw in Trout, Halibut even road kill or whatever else is handy.

Cheers
