Scott fishes the Hoh all the time. I;ve probably seen him on it 10 times this spring.

I can't seem to figure out where the fish hold when the Hoh is "high" due to glacial runoff. I've read up on Herzog's book and it said to fish glacial streams like you would fish it in winter due to the cold water temp. But my question is, do the fish still follow the same holding and migrating patterns? I am thinking about hitting the Hoh again this week, but don't want to spend hrs doing it all wrong. A few pointers would be great so I don't keep getting

We floated yesterday-Wed. Very slow. River was up some with alot of color. Only heard of 1 fish on the lower river. It was caught by a guide boat. But since they net on Mon-Tues it might be good by now. Everyone seemed to be fishing the usual places.

yeah lazy i talked to scott the other day, after he floated the upper hoh. he's not a big fan of the hoh, prefering the rivers close to his place. i seem to do good there often.
