I am planning on buying one of these reels, but I'm not sure which one to get. If I decide on the Trion, has anyone had trouble trying to find parts for this reel if a part fails after a couple years of use. I know that the Shimano Curado is more popular and you can probably find parts for it easier because it is a shimano, not a pflueger. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

You can't go wrong with either. I'd probably go with the Pflueger just for the cost. It's more comparable with the Curado BSF than the standard Curado so when you compare pricing, it's $50 less. I bought my Curados before Pflueger released a left hand version of the Trion but if I had to buy a new reel tomorrow, I'd definitely go with the Trion. The right hand model has been out for several years now so parts shouldn't be too hard to find.

I'm with JF. The Trion is a good deal for the $$. I have six of them and have caught many species of game fish with them, including peacock bass. Zero problems so far.
