It was very very slow. I was out at PD all day yesterday and seen 2 fish caught all day. Did hook into about 12 flounder, but other than that very very slow. Marked quite a bit of bait but no fish at all.

I thought the fishing was red hot today. 14lb, 13lb, and 8lb. All caught in mid afternoon during the middle of a tide change. Can't wait to give it a shot tomorrow.

We got 4 this morning in the north part of area 11, fished from 415 to 645 only one was a King about 16 lbs, the other three were smaller blackmouth. All four were hatchery fish/ad clipped.

Well after the Red hot start it sure did slow over the weekend. Not much of a morning bite. I heard the low slack was putting out some fish though. Look for the big boys in a couple more weeks!

Did not get out at all this weekend. Heard two reports for Sunday AM, one from Southworth and one from Dolphin , sounded very slow both places.

I'm headed up north this week some evening and will post a report.

Chip... If you are looking for a fishing partner one of these nights let me know.
I have been crabbing the N end of the island but not fishing. Good amounts of bait and have seen some bigger fish roll on the surface.
Let me know.

I fished Southworth this morning for several hours at the tide change and came up empty. We saw two fish caught. I had crab pots at the north end of Vashon and didn't get a single crab. Do you crab the northeast?

C&R in area 10 during low tide change this afternoon . Released one fish in the teens and one around 25 lbs. Tons of bait, great fishing.

Thanks for the report EveningBite.

I cant wait to get Ellliot Bay and West point open for some quick evening and weekend Nook and coho scores. Theres no better way to end the day than getting out on a hot summer night on the sound, cold sixer, and nail a few fish!

Downriggen. How does the girl scout camp compare to Southworth? Do you fish it on the ebb or flood? I appreciate the insite, I run the boat from armeni ramp and the extra 8 miles past Southworth has kept me from fishing the camp area.

IMO the two are equal. There might be a little more bait off the GSC on the ebb (preferred tide). With gas prices, I'd probably stick to SW or Dolphin Pt. The only advantage I can see would be starting at the GSC or Point Richmond and working your way north fishing the Cable Crossing along the way.
