It is part of area 8-2, northwest of Everett. See the regs for better definition.

It is over by hat island. If you come out of the boat launch in everett when you get past the rock wall by the navy base hang a right you cannot miss all the boats out there. But remember it is only for open for certain times of the week I think it is 1200 friday to 1200. Havent been out there in a while I never catch anything out there except for shakers and dogfish.

It's opened from 12:01 Thursday/Friday night till noon on Monday. Tulalip has a nice boat launch now, they have totally rebuilt it. Fishing is about a two minute run straight out of the launch.

They finally got that ramp up and and going that is good. How many launching and take out lanes are there and how is the traffic and if you had to wait to launch and take in how long did it take. I am sure as soon as people hear that it is open then I am sure the wait will increase.

Launching at Tulalip can be interesting. I make sure the tide +3-4 ft. before launching or retrieving my glass boat. If you have a sled you'll be better off. There's an optional "off the rocks" lane if you can't wait for the tide. Your trailer will drop off the end of the ramp into the mud if your in too far. There's 1 dock for all traffic and someone from the tribe always seems to leave their boat tied up at the front. Take some advise...launch at Everett.

Ahhh yes the lauch at Tulalip, which bends into a nice little curve to make backing up just that much more interesting, and if you miss judge it, there is that nice little 3-4 foot drop off on the side of the ramp. Then you have to time the tides just right or you will be dragging your boat out of the mud. The like someone else said there is that tribal member that is perpetually docked right next to the ramp that you have to try and miss with your boat and trailer, all while not running off the end of the ramp. Then while you are parking your truck you have to wonder how much of your fishing gear will be there when you return. Yes that is the place to lauch alright, NOT!
