Had the pleasure of fishing with D3smartie in north Area 10 this AM. First ones on the water at 4:30. Plenty of bait off Kingston, nice slack tide, perfect conditions, we had it alone except for the seals a couple of six-pack charters out of Seattle. Fishing was dissapointing, we did manage a couple blackmouth and and handful of shakers, but no decent kings. We spent some time at Jeff Head also, but the action seemed to be at Kingston. Did not see a decent hookup by the charters either.

Chip, thanks for the detailed report. I know I speak for a lot of us when I say that I appreciate it when others share what's going on and where. I don't get out nearly enough so any news I can get improves the chance that when I do get my line wet, I get it tight too.

Hopefully I'll be out this weekend - probably Southworth area, and I'll post a report if I do.

Hey Chip what time did you quit at Kingston? That area starts producing about an hour or two after the high, Thurs. high was 9:30 AM, so it should have been good at 11:00. Kingston is my favorite place to fish this time of year, but the first light/morning bite just hasn't been worth the effort.
