If you could use only one commercial egg cure , for all of your salmon/steelhead fishing would it be? Also what color would you get? The cure has to be available to the public. I would have to go with pro cure wizard in the double red hot color. I'm curious to what everyone is going to post

How many have used the pro cure wizard? Or is the original pro cure better?

I have used nothing but double redd hot double stuff down on Southwestern rivers in Oregon and have been extremely successful.

I'm with you guys. If there could be only one, then it would be PC's original RHDS. Man that stuff makes some nice eggs...

... always a wize guy in the group
I use the PC wizard, but can't really say how it compares to others. I have also used some Amerman's eggs that fished well.

Parker:
I have no doubt that "the Ultimate Egg Cure" is a good one...
Fact is, it doesn't mean squat if the presentation of the bait is not correct, or the wrong gear is used, or, or, or, or...
Good egg cures will catch fish, and we all accept, based on comments from you, that it is a fair to excellent cure...but since only you and perhaps a couple others have used that cure, for the rest of us it is a non-starter...and of absolutely no relevance since we have never used it.
Catch a lot of fish, have fun..but don't be arrogant...the cure is just one number in the big equation of fishing.

Oh wait, the question was for a cure available to the public. Darn. So much for the super secret and Ultimate Egg Cure. Fine. Pro Glow with some "what-nots" and other goodies added in. Again, "what" that is, I'm "nots" gonna tell ya!

No doubt...that bait of eggs is pretty. Is it really worth the secret?
I used Pro Cure on the eggs I did up last year..first time I ever tried curing eggs. Came out pretty darn good, too, and caught me a few silvers.
Looking forward to trying out some of the Pro Cure Double Hot, and Amerman's as well. By mid-Oct. I should have oodles of Coho eggs to try out different cures on. We'll see if they work on the hatchery Steelhead come Dec.

Man, Parker. You must be trying to cause me even more grief on the river . For those who don't know me, I'm the creator, and unfortunatley, the maker of the cure (believe me on this, making large volumes of cure at one time is a royal pain in the A$$, not to mention a big mess). I just don't spend much time posting on the net about it, or posting much in general. Problem with going commerical is trying make profit on the cure alone. Therein lies the biggest reason for not being on the market yet: the numbers just don't add up. Not to mention the time involved it takes to get something like this up and running, while making a living in an entire different line of work and trying to have enough free time for fishing, personal life, etc. If I start makin 10 g's a month in with the new business I started 3 months ago, I will market the cure, that's a promise. But even then, Keith and I will have to do something else with the "Ultimate Egg Cure" company besides just egg-cure. Something like what Pro-Cure and the other companies do: Oils, cured prawns, cured sandshrimp, etc., etc., etc. Hope this helps. Thanks, James
