Well, that was quite a week. We got home yesterday afternoon and Drew is cruising around the house and looking pretty good. He won't take any pain pills though......I think he's sick of being poked and prodded .

Thanks everyone for your support through this procedure. It made it much easier to deal with.

If everything looks good at his check-up next week, he should be good to go for years. I look forward to having him back on the river real soon.

Lets not forget to lend our thanks to the humans that have and will continue to have had a hand in young Drew's recovery while we are passing out game balls....

You know I'm feeling ya' Dan...

Let's all pray shall we that modern medical research is allowed to continue to evolve so that afflictions like Drew's, nay even my son Josh's, can be cured at a young age before the damage is already done.
