Is there any recomendations on H20-proof suncreen?

I've read all the flaming threads warning never to have bannanas in a boat, so I'll assume Bannana Boat sunscreen is a no go.

I'm just looking for something that will protect skin and not repel fish. Something that will work without alcohol or scent added.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I was going to post the same question. After getting scorched at Sekiu last weekend I need to get some good sunscreen.

Bullfrog, great stuff! got to also say it is not H2O proof, but it does as good as any I have used at being H2O resistant, so you need to apply a couple of time a day.

Be careful you don't want to end up \:o

As a fair skinned guy I am religious about using sunscreen. I used Bullfrog for awhile and it worked well, but was too greasy. I'm currently using Banana Boat spf 50 and it does the job. A few years ago I spent a summer working outside every day in the midwest and tried a Walmart brand "water proof" sun screen. It may be the best stuff I have used. I was sweating and working around (sometimes in) water for 8 hours a day in 90+ temps. I always use a high spf rating. If you're sweating or getting wet you have to reapply every couple of hours, no matter what you use.

I like Bullfrog because, to me, it's not greasy like the others I have tried (inc Bboat).

I think it's has a lot of alchohol in it that evaporates leaving little residue. It's more of a clear liquid than a cream.
