The wife and kids are out of town and I got a chance at catching the morning bite. Any suggestions for a location to pitch a spoon or buzz bomb from shore?

Was at Picnic Pt this evening and got nada. Was at Carkeek last night and picked up a couple of shakers. I'm ready to try some place else.

Any help for the boatless would be appreciated...

Try the Fishing pier on Alki ave in West Seattle - Seacrest , Point Wilson darts, buzz bombs seem to work . expect lots of other fisherman , bring along a lot of patience.

Probably too late for today's bite but, Redondo pier south of Des Moines seems to do faily well. I've never fished it but have heard pretty good reports. Also shore fishing at Three Tree Point is supposed to be good right now. Good luck.

How do you bank fish three tree without private access ?
(On foot)

As far as I know you can't just cross that lady's lawn, while parking in her driveway, to get to the rockwall in her backyard.
Can you?

I worked on a house down there and parking was a problem.

I suppose you could walk at low tide along the shore, time it perfectly to maximize fishing time and then leave right before you end up in a bunch of (mostly snobbish) people's yards.
Let me know if I'm wrong, please.

Believe me I understand, both sides. Based on how the beach combers treat the publicly accessable areas of our beach front on Vashon, I don't raelly blame the homeowner's attitudes at times , but... My understanding is, you and I can use any beach on Puget Sound (minus places such as the Bangor of course) from the "higher high water mark", down into the water. There are two ways to access any beach. One asking permission from the property owner and second accessing through public parks or public beach access points, such as the one at Three Tree. It's not easy to find if you don't know where it is, but most locals will gladly show you rather than having you wander accross their lawn. Parking is an issue. There are a few areas to pull off before you get to the water, and a couple spaces at the entrance to the access point I mentioned earlier. Most residents will watch close to make sure you're not snagging their boats or bouys while casting, but common sense says try to stay away from those if you want to have any chance to land a fish anyway.
That's about all I have to say about that.
