We need info on the best campgrounds around the sol duc area with fishing nearby. What is running and were. Any fish in the sol duc river now?? Any info would help alot.

When I go out there this time of year, I like to stay at the Mora Camp Ground. It's part of the Olympic National Park and is a real nice campground. $10.00 per night. Take LaPush Road off 101 and take a right at Three Rivers Lodge. (You can camp at Three Rivers, if you prefer. It has showers and a nice cafe, as well as a general store.) Mora is just a few miles down the road. I think there are several other campgrounds on 101 coming into Forks from Port Angeles, (Tumbling Rapids???), but I don't have any experience with them.

ummm, IMO, if you come all the way out here this time of year and camp anywhere except the HOH, you are doing yourself a disservice.
