Planning on fishing the Hump Saturday out of my Duckworth but am concerned it may be to heavy for this river. I have only bank fished this river off the gravel bar opposite the hatchery creek so I don't know the river well. So, my question is if the river is deep enough for a heavier boat? And where would the best launch be to get into some fishies? I went to the link at IAC and it shows 4 launches from 101 down, would Reynaan Bar be a good bet? I also see the nets won't be out till 3pm on Sat. is it going to be worth the trip?

River is getting low for a sled, You could probably get in to fish the rayoner hole with one. its a one hole fishery, but lots of fish and lots of boats and bankies in one really long hole There is a launch right into it and I have seen guys with props in there.

I am not sure I would take a Heavy Sled down the road to rynvanns. that is one narrow windy road and cars coming the opposite direction are a problem. most of the time you can barely squeek a truck and db by each other and to do it every one is driving over shrubs and almost rubbing trees. There is a pretty good drop on one side of the road i would be most worried about the bank giving way and getting stuck. If you don't have a 4x4 you will most likely get stuck on the rynavan bar also since its really soft sand and gravel.

If I were you I'd keep the sled off the hump until higher flows.Maybe Sunday after some rain but then again it could be coming up to fast for any of use to be productive.Kwik nailed it about the reyanvann gravel bar and road into it.If you do put your sled in you may want to try down lower in tide water by the dike access launch.Good luck,

I have a tough time launching at Rynvans. With a small sled... It is very soft and very gradual. Your best bet is to launch at 109 and just run up. And you might want to wait for more water. Its a little low right now. Good luck to you.

Like everyone has said, low water now, but they're holdin' in the holes. Bank it if you can deal with the crowds.... \:D

Found a hole just down from the hatchery to bank it, and had a great time! We cooned um' with eggs under a float. Silvers were few, and far between. But, every few minutes someone had a King on, and we saw a 40ish chromer caught. We managed a couple mid 20 Kings early, and a bright Silver around 5pm. After the river drops back in it's going to be hot. Thanks again for info.
